The Play Centre's Aims and Philosophy

To provide all the children with a broad and balanced learning opportunities and environment that is committed to the integration of all children from any background and those with Special Educational Needs and Disabled. Our Philosophy is to ''include'' all children regardless of their background, with or without special educational needs or disability, and they should have the right to a fulfilled life with opportunities to thrive and develop their potentials alongside other children of any background in our society.

To work within the Statutory guidelines for providing enriched curriculum for education and learning that includes all children under the age of 18 years and to include special education needs principles and objectives.

To welcome, value, respect children's feelings and opinions and encourage/promote self confidence, self - worth and self - esteem.

To share our learning objectives with all the children, parents/carers, including those with educational needs, the disabled and to involve them in planning and evaluating their own progress and to set new targets for self development.

To work in partnership with all parents/carers, respect and give informed choices on issues relating to the centre and their children on a regular basis.

To ensure that our teaching methods, resources and learning goals are adopted in meeting the individual needs of the children.
